School Visits
Educational guided tours are offered to school groups within school operating hours.
The tours take place Tuesday-Friday and cover age groups of children from grade 1 of Primary School to grade 3 of Lyceum. The tours can be:
A. General: moving through the permanent Collections of the Museum and covering the timeline from ancient times to British rule. These tours offer a general view into history by passing through all of the Museum’s galleries and by making stops which focus on specific objects.
B. Special: aiming for the children to get a better comprehension of a specific historical period (Ancient Nicosia, Byzantine Period, Frankish Period) or a specific Collection (Maps, Medieval Ceramics, Jewellery, etc.). In consultation with the Museum, the educator can draft the tour for the group according to the school curriculum or the study of a specific subject.
Guided tours for school groups require prior arrangement.
